Luke Fox’s Top 5 regional acts you should check out from W.A

Great Gable – From Bunbury, these boys are good friends of mine, but a better band. 2 EPs, big support slots, headlined some big shows around Perth and have multiple east coast tours under their belt. Genuine fanbase and just so tight live. The Kooks meet Sticky Fingers  triplejunearthed.com/artist/great-gable
Wooly Mammoth – Also from Bunbury, these young guys are going to do great things. A second EP coming, their indie-pop sounds are morphing into mature dream rock. triplejunearthed.com/artist/wooly-mammoth-0
Carla Geneve – From Albany now relocated to Perth, Carla has played huge shows in the last 12 months, taking the city by storm. Simply an amazing writer and performer and 2018 is going to be huge with her honest and always beautiful songwriting. triplejunearthed.com/artist/carla-geneve
Michael Triscari – Living between Exmouth and Margaret River, Tricky is as true to the world as they come and he draws you in with his well crafted brand of oceanic roots and storytelling. I listen to Tricky pretty regularly and his new single ‘Calm Like the Seagrass’ is Tricky at his best. triplejunearthed.com/artist/michael-triscari
Askya – Based in Margaret River, this is a new electronic pop project by Tom Boerema (Salt Tree) and its got legs. Very catchy melodic tunes you want to vibe with. Tom left his career as an engineer to make music full time and I’m really glad he did. triplejunearthed.com/artist/askya
