As the festival draws near its important to get yourselves familiar with Woodford’s Festival Guide. With some of the countries best local acts such as John Butler and Kate Miller-Heidke on the line up, it makes pre-planning essential.
For first time festival- goers planning on camping, getting to the event nice and early is also a great idea as spots tend to fill up really quick and you’re gonna want a spot under a tree to pitch your tent, that morning sun can get pretty blinding and 6 am.
Located in between the Brisbane Valley and Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the Woodford Folk Festival takes place in a rural valley surrounded by natural bushland with plenty of native wildlife and a superb view of the Glass House Mountains from the hill-top above the festival grounds. The festival is about an hour and a half drive north of Brisbane, or 40 minutes west of Caloundra or an hour south of Noosa.
